Tension Wire
This wire is used to stiffen the top or bottom of a chain link fence and many types of wire are used. The most commonly used wire is a 7 gauge wire.
Tie Wire
Chain link ties are used to secure chain link fabric to posts and horizontal rails; therefore, 2” ties are for 2" pipe, 2 1/2" ties for 2 1/2" pipe, and so on.
Hog Rings
These are used for a variety of applications. Hog rings are mainly used for securing top or bottom tension wire to the chain link fence fabric.
